Hong Kong, 21 June 2011 – China Agri-Industries Holdings Limited (606) has won the “Annual Recognition Awards 2011” by Corporate Governance Asia, a reputable Asian financial magazine in corporate governance. Following Mr. NING Gaoning, Chairman & Non-executive Director of the Company, who had won the “2010 Asian Corporate Director Recognition Awards, our Executive Director and Managing Director, Mr. YU Xubo has been honored with the “2011 Asian Corporate Director Recognition Awards” by the organization.

                                    
The awards presentation was held on the evening of 20 June at Conrad Hotel Hong Kong. In addition to China Agri, other Chinese enterprises such as China Construction Bank, China Telecom and CNOOC are also the awardees. There are altogether five winners for “Asian Corporate Director Recognition Awards”, which include our Managing Director, Mr. YU Xubo; China Telecom’s Chairman & CEO, Mr. WANG Xiaochu; ICBC’s Chairman, Mr. JIANG Jianqing; China’s Construction Bank’s Chairman, Mr. GUO Shuqing and China Resources Enterprise’s CEO, Mr. CHEN Lang.

These awards aim to encourage improvement in corporate governance of listed companies in the Asia-Pacific region. It provides recognition for China Agri’s unwavering commitment to upholding high standards in corporate governance, corporate social responsibilities, business ethics, corporate disclosure, investor relations, environmental responsibility and financial performance.
